Kom Ombo is dedicated to 2 gods Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (Crocodile God). This in itself is unusual. The temple is symmetrical with one side dedicated to Haroeris and the other to Sobek. Alot of the carvings are very deep so have stood up to time well. Look at the remaining ceilings as color still remains.
